The town of Estremoz is an important historical landmark in the Alentejo, also because it is near the frontier with Spain.

Set in beautiful gardens, the house offers various leisure facilities including a bar with terrace, outdoor swimming pool, lounge with games area, childrens room, gallery, private parking, the Alzulaich regional restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and the Afonso III meeting room with capacity for up to 300 people.

“Azulaich” – from original word “ al-zulaich” a bright polished stone, from which derives the word azulejo (tile), which is identified as a bright, shining ceramic with a regular surface and polygonal – was the name chosen for this restaurant space, where the guests delight in the gastronomy and wines of the Alentejo, produced in these lands..

On the wine list amongst others are examples of the complex richness of the area, such as Joao Portugal Ramos, Monte Seis Reis, Quinta do Carmo, Monte das Servas and numerous typical vineyards who are part of the Rota dos Vinhos do Alentejo.

The Pateo dos Solares has 40 double rooms divided into standard, luxury and suites. With a sober, rustic decoration yet modern and fully equipped, the rooms give an ample and comfortable welcome which characterizes the good reception of the Alentejo.

All of the rooms are equipped with private bathroom, air conditioner, telephone with external line, hair dryer, amenities, satellite television with remote control, safe, mini bar and wireless internet. Some rooms are fitted with fireplaces and some bathrooms have hydro massage baths.
