This
luxury villa has five bedrooms all with private bathrooms (en-suite), four
of which have a sea view and their own door onto the balcony. You can book
up to five rooms or just one room and meet other discerning guests.
During high season
we prefer weekly bookings, but please contact for availability. Outside
peak season we will be happy to take mid week or long weekend bookings
for those who want a short break in the sun.

| Three of the
rooms have a bath with shower and the other two have shower rooms. All
the rooms have a fridge, radio alarm, hairdryer and tea and coffee making
facilities. The property has full central heating. There is
a large private pool with sun beds in the extensive gardens with views
of the sea.
On the first
floor is a delightful living area where guests can meet. This is cool in
summer with magnificent mable flooring or cosy in the winter around the
log fire.
In addition there
is satellite TV, a room for playing chess and card games, with wi-fi Internet
access. There is also outdoor Table Tennis under shade

room and adjoining terrace where breakfast can be taken, overlooks the
pool and Atlantic Ocean.

A steep drive
and steps, make it unsuitable for the physically challenged to gain access
to the property, we have a long drive with electric gates offering secure
private parking.

| The Location
A 7 minutes stroll
away is the local family beach of S Lourenco with it´s great beach
cafe and in common with other beaches in the area it has been awarded the
European Blue Flag (for safety and cleanliness), in season there are full
time lifeguards. The next beach 2 kilometres distance is the best surfing
waves in Western Europe and operates a surfing school. The area offers
golf with 15 Championship courses within easy reach, tennis, big game fishing,
mountain biking, hiking and 4x4 in the local forest also pony trekking
any of which we would be happy to arrange for you or your party. There
are 14 restaurants and cafes locally specialising in fish and shellfish.
The nearby town
of Ericeira is a charming seaside town with numerous blue & white cottages
(reminiscent of Tenby in Wales but with the sun) it has cobbled narrow
streets leading to the town square where the friendly locals meet under
the trees.

Ericeira has
3 beaches, down from the spectacular cliffs you can see the working fishing
boats Ericeira has recently been voted the town with the best quality of
life in Portugal.
There are 40
to 50 restaurants and cafés providing locally caught fish and shellfish
for which the area is renowned.
A short drive
away is Sintra with the summer palace of the Portuguese old royal family
in amongst the interesting buildings. The web link will show you many places
of interest to visit locally.

| Lisbon a picturesque
port city and capital is 45 minutes away and is worth a couple of days
visiting for the museums and art galleries alone. A must to visit is the
redeveloped Expo 98 area or just lounge about in one of the numerous bars,
watching as the world goes by.
Fatima the sanctuary
of Fatima is a devotional shrine on a prodigious scale, a pilgrim destination.
The Basilica has a 213ft tower and an esplanade twice the size of St Peter’s
Square in Rome. |

enchanting hilltown with pretty whitewashed houses is enclosed within 14th
century castellated walls, it is a picture postcard town and not to be
missed.
